My husband saw this blog that had some sandwiches from famous restaurants from around the country, but they didn't have any recipes so we thought we'd try to figure it out and make our own.The Mother-In-Law Sandwich was apparently from this famous restaurant in Chicago. Here's what we came up with, but it you have another idea of what goes inside let me know.
Ingredients:
4 prepackaged frozen tamales
1 14 oz can of chili
diced onion (if desired)
shredded Mexican cheese (as desired)
4 hot dog buns
Direction:
Cook tamales as instructed on package. Meanwhile heat chili on stove. Set hot dog buns on a plate and fill with tamales, top with chili, onion and cheese. Enjoy.
